Tell us about the nest
Four short questions — that’s all we need to give you a price. A photo helps us identify the species before we arrive, but it’s optional; please don’t get close to the nest to take one.
- We reply in English, in plain language.
- No cost, no pressure, no sales call.
- Renting? We can contact your landlord or agency.
We only use your details to answer your enquiry.
Why English speakers call us
The hard part usually isn’t the nest.
We handle the Japanese side
Landlord, management company, neighbour, city office — we make the calls and write the messages in Japanese, then tell you in English what was said and what was agreed.

You know the price before we start
We quote before any work begins. If the job turns out to be different from the photos, we ask you before doing anything that changes the price.
When wasps are worst
Nests grow all summer, then get defensive.
A nest the size of a golf ball in May can hold hundreds of workers by September. Colonies grow all summer and defend themselves harder as they grow, and hornets will follow an intruder well away from the nest. Late summer and early autumn are when most stings happen.

Keep your distance until it’s dealt with.
Wasps and hornets defend a nest as a colony. A disturbed nest can send dozens of insects out at once, they will follow an intruder well away from it, and hornet stings can be medically serious — particularly for anyone who has been stung before.
- Keep everyone, especially children and pets, away from the nest and its flight path.
- Close the windows and vents nearest to it, and stop using that balcony or entrance.
- Don’t block the entrance — a sealed nest usually forces the colony somewhere else, often indoors.
- If someone is stung and feels faint, breathless or swollen beyond the sting, call 119 immediately.
